You are already working with a strategically based competency model, and would like to develop your Human Capital in this direction. In Development Centers we work, if possible, together with line managers who we train. We establish a comprehensive picture of the competencies and development areas of a given group of candidates. The result is individual development plans which are based on the evaluations of group members using state-of-the-art standardised and objective assessment tools.

This is how it’s run:

  • Based on your competency model a development center is designed for a target group of employees
  • Selection of tools and methods is done in close collaboration with the HR-function
  • Line managers are trained specifically for their tasks of observation and evaluation
  • Implementation of the development center at a location with six to twelve candidates
  • The individual competency profile for each participant is captured in an easy to understand written report with concrete, practical development recommendations, which get further exploration in a feedback interview. Career development recommendations can be made.
  • Together with line manager/HR a development plan is agreed upon
